To make you the best you can be. In a group of no more than 12, you will present 7 times over the two days. You will learn confidence, how to put your points across succinctly and most of all to enjoy presenting. OPP was founded by a serial entrepreneur who developed this course over a 30-year career to enhance the presentation skills of his teams. For most people in business, presentations and public speaking are regular occurrences. It could be an internal meeting where you are speaking to colleagues more senior than you, a presentation to customers or a public event like a conference. Most people are nervous. This course teaches you ways to cope with those nerves and use them to your advantage. It is not about PowerPoint, but about the way you behave in front of an audience. Glossophobia, or a fear of public speaking, is a very common phobia and one that is believed to affect up to 75% of the population. Some individuals may feel a slight nervousness at the very thought of public speaking, while others experience full-on panic and fear. They may try to avoid public speaking situations at all costs or if they must speak in public, they endure shaking hands and a weak, quavering voice. This is true if presenting at a conference or event in front of a live audience, or if presenting online on Zoom. Oxford Professional Presentations provides instructor led training (ILT) on presentation skills and public speaking.
