ÖZATA Tersanecilik ve Gemi İnşa Şirketi (ÖZATA Shipbuilding) was founded in 1985 in Tuzla, Istanbul to perform steel sheet processing and piping works of newly constructed and rebuilt ships. Özata Shipyard continued its activities in a large number of shipyards at Tuzla region until 2002 and has become an experienced and preferred organization in its field. In 2002, our founder Özdemir Ataseven made the required investments in Altınova area in Tuzla with the purpose of using his experience and knowledge in shipbuilding, and has brought Özata Shipyard to these days. Founded on a 60,000 sqm area with all opportunities, Özata Shipyard has built fully-equipped yachts, mega yachts, passenger boats, Sar Boats for special purposes and carbon fiber body catamaran ferries. With an annual processing capacity of 20,000 tons of steel , Özata Shipyard is capable of building ships up to 30.000 DWT in world class with its experienced workers and employees. Özata Shipyard's biggest goal is to make leading initiatives for its country and industry, and continues its projects with its innovations and innovative structure. Özata Shipyard Opportunities and Technical Capacity Özata Shipyard is capable of producing carbon fiber, which could be produced in limited number of countries in the world, and only in Özata Shipyard in our country for now. And as a requirement of this production, it has wood processing shops, fiber cutting shops, carbon fiber storages, 2000 sqm factory with air conditioning system and indoor area production facility with total 10.000 sqm.
