OzRocks Geoservices Pty Ltd (OzRocks) is a Melbourne-based consultancy in conducting seismic hazard assessments for large dams across Australia and overseas.
We offer site-specific seismic hazard assessments for large water storage, pumped hydro and tailings dams. Additionally, we collaborate with dam owners and government authorities on long-term projects, providing expertise on regional seismicity and offering support with risk mitigation and emergency response planning.
With thorough knowledge of the current ANCOLD (2019) Earthquake Guidelines and National Seismic Hazard Maps (NSHA-23), we produce reliable seismic hazard assessments using the following approaches:

Our Founder and Principal Seismologist, Vicki-Ann Dimas, has nearly two decades of experience working on large critical infrastructure including large dams, offshore plants, onshore tanks, gas pipelines, airports, railways, tall buildings, and emergency facilities.
A respected peer reviewer of over 200 external PSHA studies, Vicki-Ann is highly regarded in the Australian seismological community. She is a member of ANCOLD and has contributed her knowledge to the development of the latest ANCOLD (2019) Earthquake Guidelines. She has presented at several ANCOLD conferences and other events.
