PAC (Project Architecture Company)

Project Architecture Company (PAC) discovers the untapped potential of the existing to create something new. The initial methodology we apply with each design is the simple need for research. Any existing context has its own programmatic, structural and volumetric principles that have to be understood and respected. Sometimes only a minimal intervention is sufficient to reveal the quality and character of an existing site. Renovation and addition is a strategy we embrace. Our design intention is to combine the new with the old in an unexpected way, making an architecture at once familiar and unique. We are interested in projects of various scales – ranging from small interiors to urban masterplans – and look forward to each new challenge. PAC was founded by Anne Menke and Richard Sharam in 2011 and is based in Berlin.
