So what about Pacific Blue? Who are we? What do we do?
We are a specialist training and consultancy company who love working with other learning and development professionals like you, to create high-quality learning solutions that get great results.
For us, learning is a positive, not a negative cost that has to be tolerated. As we see it, learning makes you and your colleagues more effective and efficient in your day-to-day work. It enables change. It helps keep your customers and clients happy and satisfied.
But (and it's a BiG but) this is true ONLY if your learning is focused, well-executed and highly effective. And sad to say, too often this is not the case. Too often learning lacks focus. Is poorly-executed and fails to effect any real change or improvement for the learners.
This is a pity. It gets learning a bad name. It makes people reluctant to learn. It makes organisations reluctant to spend money on learning.
So our mission in life is simple. To help you create highly effective (and enjoyable) learning solutions.
This can be through a 'done for you' service where we take the strain and complete the job for you. It can be a do-it-yourself approach where we train you and your colleagues in the 'how-to' of learning and instructional design. Or it could be a blend of the two approaches.
