Over the past decade, shrimp imports into the US have increased by almost 100%. Most shrimp in the US travel thousands of miles from Southeast Asia, frozen, with questionable traceability and often associated with unsustainable practices before reaching consumers' plates. At Pacifica we want to change that. Pacifica is devoted to providing super-fresh (never frozen), local, healthy, and sustainable-high-quality shrimp for the main consumer centers in the US. We will achieve this by building highly advanced Biofloc facilities within 300 miles of the key metropolitan areas of the US
