The Pearl of Africa Fashion Alliance (PAFA) is the official association for Uganda’s textile and fashion industry. Through our work in five key areas—business, reputation, education, innovation & digital, and investment—we play an active role in supporting and developing the industry to position Uganda as an innovative fashion hub.
PAFA supports initiatives that increase capacity, promote environmentally friendly business practices, and broaden Uganda’s fashion and textile industries globally. Our mission is to support the expansion of regional fashion designers and shops and advocate for the importance of raising the visibility of homegrown brands locally and internationally. We support the Build Uganda, Buy Uganda Initiative.
Our programs include local and international go-to-market opportunities, resources for brand growth and business development, seminars and conferences, community events, masterclasses, mentorships, and consultations on a range of important industry-related topics.
