PagaBags

PagaBags is an ethical fashion label of handwoven handbags, backpacks and accessories in partnership with women associations in Burkina Faso. Created in 2013 with the aim to work in recycled fashion design, we created a new material based on weaving cotton with recycled plastic bags. The results were incredible. Since Burkina banned plastics in 2015, we have slowly converted our design to creating a material using 100% handwoven cotton. At the same time, we have worked on research and development in the use of traditional plant dyes. Our first collection will be ready in June 2019!
