In India, being labelled Pagal/ Mental/ Mad is quite common. Whatever is not understood or doesn't fall within a defined category of "Normal" is labelled as Pagal. Mental health is a spectrum and everyone has to take care of it. It is therefore, important to understand where you are at on this spectrum, where you want to go and how you will reach their on this journey.
This had led to the need for spaces where Young people can smash the stigma around Mental health issues by talking about their experiences in a non judgemental way, building a language to communicate with family & friends, find support and learn from other people’s lived experiences and take control of their individual journeys.
Our community is made of Mental health advocates, youth with lived experiences of Anxiety, Depression, OCD etc. from all types of communities in India including LGBTQI.
The community also includes Mental Health Professionals who align with our vision and respond to the community's queries. They can also be reached out for services one-on-one.
