Pakistani Actuarial Network (PAN UK)

The Pakistani Actuarial Network (PAN UK) was founded by Naz Ali (Senior Actuary) in 2024 and is an independent and non-profit making membership organisation for all actuaries, in particular actuaries of Pakistani origin living and working in the UK and abroad. PAN UK was founded with a vision to connect all Pakistani actuaries, both in the UK and globally, to create a strong, supportive network. Previously, there was no dedicated platform in the UK effectively bringing together professionals of Pakistani origin in this field. Recognising the need for a platform where professionals of Pakistani origin could come together, PAN UK aims to foster connections that would transcend geographical boundaries, enabling members to share knowledge, collaborate, and advance their careers collectively. PAN UK aims to become a global network for providing guidance and support to actuarial professionals of Pakistani origin through the following initiatives: PAN UK's Objectives: 1. Networking & Communication: Provide a platform for UK-based Pakistani actuaries to connect, foster community, and facilitate global collaboration and knowledge exchange. 2. Professional Events & Mentorship: Host events and offer mentorship, career guidance, and exam support for actuaries and students, enhancing professional development. 3. Promote Interests & Culture: Advocate for Pakistani actuaries globally, promote cultural heritage, and engage in community service and outreach. 4. Continuing Professional Development (CPD): Offer opportunities for CPD through technical sessions and professional programs, supporting lifelong learning
