Paknam Manufacturing Company (formerly SNOW) was founded in 1962 in Tehran as one of the first detergent powder producers in the Middle East. A year later, it launched its first product, Toofan washing powder.
By 1972, the company increased its production capacity ninefold, reaching 5,000 tons per year. Despite challenges in the 1980s, production rose to 14,000 tons annually.
Following the Islamic Revolution, SNOW was renamed Paknam. With growing demand, the company collaborated with European engineers to build a modern factory in Buin Zahra, Qazvin, with a 120,000-ton capacity on a 22-hectare site.
After five years of construction, in 1995, Paknam became one of the most advanced detergent manufacturing facilities in the region. 🚀
