Pakistan Very Young Arbitration Practitioners (“Pak VYAP”) is designed to be a community of young practitioners and law students interested in professional networking and career development. Pak VYAP is targeted towards practitioners with up to ten years of post-qualification experience, and law students. Membership will be open to those who are either based in Pakistan or have a link with Pakistan or the Pakistani legal market.
Presently, Pak VYAP’s emphasis will be to organise virtual events on topical issues related to domestic and international arbitration, as well as provide its members publication opportunities via Pak VYAP’s affiliated blog, PakArbitrationLaw.
Pak VYAP will also be introducing a mentorship programme for junior lawyers (up to 5 years’ post-qualification experience), whereby they will be able to connect and obtain professional guidance from senior members. More details are available on the page.
Pak VYAP’s dedicated team hopes that this initiative is successful in promoting the understanding of arbitration amongst young lawyers and law students.
