Palanca Program

We are a Latinx-led initiative focused on empowering youth, and encouraging an entrepreneurial mindset. Our program hosts a cost free, 3 day camp for BIPOC youth where they will absorb many stories from local BIPOC officials, business owners, artists, etc., covering topics such as : business plans, marketing, business development, customer relations, the start up journey in general, and many personal stories gained along the way. During this camp, all the youth will build out their own business plan. At the end of the camp, all youth will pitch their business ideas to the panel of speakers. One attendee will be selected and be given a kickstarter stipend for their business idea, and enter a mentorship with the Palanca speakers and program. Participants who did not win, will receive constructive feedback, and support to strengthen their business plans.
