Paltechnica is Israel's leading developer and producer of ergonomic seating solutions for buses, trains and armored vehicles.
Founded in 1943, Paltechnica was acquired by Kibbutz Nitzanim in 1969, where the company houses its numerous operations. With more than 66 years of experience in product development and production, Paltechnica is well equipped to provide products and services of the highest level and quality. All production is completed in compliance with the tightest quality control standards including ISO9001-2000 and others.
Paltechnica has won all bids of the Israel railway for train seating since 1995: Adtranz (Bombardier), Alstom, Bombardier and Siemens. We meet International Standards and Regulations for Train Coaches such as fire behaviour and toxicity.
Paltechnica develops and manufactures seating for busses that excel in safety, quality and durability.
Since 2007 Paltechnica develops and manufactures specially blast energy absorbing seats for armored vehicles on behalf of Plasan. We supplied seats to 2,000 MRAP vehiclesand for the MATV project.
Paltechnica Research and Development Department is staffed by an experienced team of ergonomics, designers and development engineers. Utilizing highly sophisticated planning methodology, Paltechnica's specific expertise is in adapting products to various specialized seating requirements.
Paltechnica employs about 130 people, covers an area of more then 9,700 square meters, and contains advanced and sophisticated equipment.
Paltechnica has many capabilities such as using advanced materials like Polyurethane, producing the exact degree of hardness or softness according to the customers’ specific needs, molding and models preparation, welding, stamping, painting, upholstery and assembly.
