PAMCA Pan-African Mosquito Control Association

The Pan-African Mosquito Control Association (PAMCA) is an African led non-profit organization devoted to improving the health and wellbeing of Africans by making high impact investments in the reduction of mosquitoes and mosquito borne diseases affecting human health. PAMCA exists to provide technical support and coordination to reduce malaria and other related vector borne diseases in Africa. The PAMCA platform facilitates improved information sharing, capacity building and shapes decision making processes in order to maximize the impact of vector control by catalysing the development of innovative, cost effective, scalable and sustainable health interventions in Africa. PAMCA brings together various experts in research and academia, governmental and non-governmental organizations, international agencies, civil society and other strategic partners to form networks, disseminate research, and influence public health policy primarily in Africa, and ultimately, across the globe. Its overall aim is to connect African scientists and other stakeholders, to work together, through adopting common approaches to tackling mosquito borne diseases across the African continent.
