PampaType, first font foundry from Argentina, was founded in 2001 by Alejandro Lo Celso, with the purpose of developing high quality type families for the widest range of uses.
PampaType’s work pioneered the Latin American scene in type design.
Our typefaces have been internationally prized as well as broadly recognized for their quality and originality.
Our fonts are carefully handcrafted. We pay serious attention to details so characters look good both printed and on screen. Spacing and kerning are made by hand following visual strategies rather than mathematical methods. Therefore instead of feeling mechanical, our fonts build an organic rhythm, aiming at a friendly atmosphere and comfortable reading.
We build type with great care bearing in mind that it plays a significant role in human culture.
