Pan African Statistics II

The second phase of the Pan African Statistics Programme, PAS II, was launched in 2022. The EU-funded programme aims at further developing institutional and statistical capacity within the African Statistical System (AfSS). PAS II is divided into several components, which are implemented by various stakeholders. The main goals of PAS II are: - Improve quality, production & dissemination of statistics to support policy decision makers - Strengthen institutional capacities of the African statistical system - Support STATAFRIC, in becoming a main pillar of harmonized statistics in Africa. - - Complement/increase the capacities of African statisticians.
