Panda Mountain

Panda Mountain is a conservation and cultural initiative focused exclusively on the Wolong Panda Reserve, China’s leading home for Giant Pandas. We integrate planning, conservation, education, sustainable development and humanitarian aid for Wolong, a site of international significance that was designated by the United Nations as a World Heritage Site. The Panda Mountain team - consisting of Chinese, US, and international experts - is uniquely qualified to play a transformative role in helping with the vision and mission. VISION Promote Preserve and Protect the Giant Pandas with a healthy mountain eco-system in Wolong. MISSION To establish link between scientific research, conservation education and community participation in developing adaptive approach to conserving the Giant Panda and the cultural integrity & economic well-being of Wolong's indigenous communities.
