Pandani Select Foods are a Tasmanian owned family business, producing premium quality small goods for you to enjoy at home since 1965. Produced in the lush green hills of Somerset Tasmania, Pandani Select Foods bring a range of hams, bacons, sausages and assorted cold meat perfect for every occasion. Enjoy taste perfection with Pandani, quality is never a mistake, it’s a guarantee. Pandani Select Foods was established by Walter Ingles in 1965 in Somerset Tasmania. Already an accomplished butcher, Walter purchased a small shop on Main St on the beautiful north west cost of Tasmania with his son Ian. Having lived through the depression and served in WW2, Walter wanted a solid business. A simple but wise decision for his family, because after all everybody has to eat. A clever, hardworking perfectionist, Walter always purchased his stock direct from the farm developing a terrific reputation for fresh, tender, delicious, premium quality meats. The Pandani business was inherited by Ian in 1978 and having learned at his father’s side from the age of 15, Ian kept his father’s passion for taste and quality alive and well. Steadily growing the business as demand continued for his family’s tender delicious small goods. Pandani has continued to grow and expand the range of meats, always using trusted premium quality breeds of beef, lamb and pork. Three generations of the Ingles family have now owned and operated Pandani Select all hand crafting in the same authentic family tradition. The gradual expansion and evolution of Pandani have brought us today into a state-of-the-art production facility with a focus on environmentally friendly and sustainable practice.
