Pangea Studios at UW Whitewater (GIS Center)

Pangea Studios at Whitewater is an innovative fusion of higher education with traditional GIS consulting. Through student conducted and led projects, we produce real-world GIS products for clients on campus and throughout the Midwest. Our focus is on interactive web tools which improve decision-making both in the public and private sectors. Description: We are a student-driven GIS consulting center at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. We are a non-profit organization that conducts projects on a cost-recovery basis for clients on and off campus. Mission: Our goal is to train students in the professional skills — both technical and social — needed to conduct high-quality products for our clients. We see ourselves as proving the transitional training that current undergraduate students need to compete in today’s job market.
