Pangea Trails started as a backpacker dream in 2003 and came into existence 2011 with owner-run tours from Johannesburg to Cape Town to showcase the best hidden secrets of South Africa. After a merger with Rock the Route in 2018, we refined our vision with the goal of breaking away from the old, boring “touristy” style of travel and introducing more freedom and adventure into South African tours. Our focus is on authenticity, quality, and personal experiences through travel all over the world. Saving the planet while having fun is important to us too – our tours are eco-friendly!
