Panning for Gold

Panning for Gold is a process of discovery primarily aimed at women facing a crossroads in their lives - perhaps post-divorce or facing an empty nest - to rediscover the little tiny pieces of gold from throughout their lives to get a clearer sense of the value they bring. It was created by Heidi Todd and born out of her own experience. After her divorce she felt she needed to secure a permanent job but felt very unsure how to demonstrate value to future employers, having a less than conventional CV. Like many women who had prioritised caring responsibilities, she had always taken flexible, freelancing and short-term contract options. However she came to realise that the many varied pieces of work she'd done over the years gave her a unique set of experiences and insights to offer. Now her mission is to help other women to do the same. She has adapted the work she was doing in the corporate brand space – observing and listening, looking for the gaps, spotting the unseen and the unheard – to help individuals rediscover all that they are and all that they bring.
