PanV, Inc. is a biotechnology company spun out of the Iwasaki Laboratory at Yale University developing a novel class of antibody therapeutics that target conserved post-translational modifications (PTMs) derived from host cells and shared across diverse viral families. This unique mechanism enables PanV to deliver broad-spectrum antiviral activity and novel immuno-oncology solutions with a single therapeutic approach. Our lead programs address two high-value markets: 1. HERV+ Cancers: Leveraging the reactivation of endogenous retroviruses in tumors to create a new class of targeted immunotherapies. 2. Transplant Medicine: Providing durable, pan-viral protection for immunocompromised patients vulnerable to infections. Unlike traditional antivirals that target mutable viral proteins, PanV antibodies recognize stable, host-derived PTMs present on virions. This strategy offers a pan-viral solution effective against retroviruses, herpesviruses, coronaviruses, and influenza.
