We believe that emerging markets such as India have large, fast growing economies and urbanizing populations that require infrastructure which is capital efficient and robust to serve their growing needs. To meet this demand, sunrise industries are emerging to serve basic needs in core areas such as housing, education, finance, energy, urban infrastructure and transport in a way that is socially inclusive and environmentally viable. We call these Sustainable Infrastructure companies. These “next generation” companies are capital efficient, built on leapfrog technologies and business models with globally competitive management teams.
