Paraboot (assemblage de « Para », un port d’Amazonie, d’où est importé le latex, et « boot », la curieuse chaussure, que Rémy Richard, le fondateur, a découvert aux Etats Unis) fabrique des chaussures haut de gamme pour l’homme et la femme depuis 1908. Paraboot est une marque de la société Richard-Pontvert.
L’entreprise a tout récemment inauguré son nouvel atelier et son nouveau siège au pied des Alpes, entre Grenoble et Voiron, à quelques minutes des ateliers historiques.
