The roots of Paras Group can be traced back to the 1950s when Late Mr. D. P. Sangoi laid the foundation with a small rice mill and rice flakes manufacturing plant. Through dedication and perseverance, we gradually expanded our operations, supplying rice-bran and de-oiled meals to renowned companies across the country. In the 1980s, Mr. Sangoi envisioned the need for a business enterprise in the Oils & Fats industry, leading to the establishment of a manufacturing unit for crude edible oils, primarily derived from rice bran.
In 1991, Paras Group took a significant leap forward by setting up an edible oil refinery unit, solidifying our position as a reliable supplier of high-quality edible oils. Building on our success, we ventured into the production of bakery fats and specialty fats in 1999, catering to the evolving needs of our discerning customers.
Over the years, the Paras Group has continued to innovate and expand its operations. In 2022, we proudly introduced a modern rice mill with a capacity of 10 tons per hour, showcasing our commitment to staying at the forefront of technological advancements in the industry. In 2023, we further expanded our capabilities by incorporating a state-of-the-art parboiling unit, enhancing our ability to deliver superior rice products.
