Parenting in 2023 and beyond is vastly different from parenting in the 1900s! Tiger, Elephant, and Dolphins - words that you would use in an animal book have now become varieties of parenting styles. There is so much to be done, and there just isn't enough time to accomplish everything, as a parent and also as a human being, largely because social media has taken up a majority of our available waking hours. According to recent research, 59% of the world's population uses social media and the average daily usage is 2 hours and 29 minutes (July 2022)! Imagine - that's the amount of time you could instead use to build lasting connections with your children and family - the people who truly matter! We are living in the most connected times in the history of humanity, yet, we are completely disconnected from our traditional wisdom, and to a large extent, from our own spiritual selves. This disconnection is the basis of parenting & family woes and it impacts every parent, regardless of their gender, professional status, and age. The Parent Academy is an endeavor to bring that connection back - with ourselves, with parenting wisdom, with common sense, and with our children.
