Parents for Climate Aotearoa believes in the power of community-led solutions for local climate change impacts. We want to see all children thrive in communities grounded in hope and trust through generations working together to build strong relationships and local led solutions.
Right now, many of us are struggling to know how to talk with our children, family and friends about climate change - we are feeling anxious and worried about raising our children in a rapidly changing climate and our children are feeling the same way. So we are developing a series of workshops for parents and whānau to learn about how to talk about climate change with their kids (and everyone).
Talking about climate change is one of the most impactful things we can do, not only to alleviate climate anxiety, but also to create social change through meaningful conversations and community building.
