Facilitating sessions for the 'Baby & You' programme in Christchurch, with a focus on infant feeding to support new whanau through their Pepi early weeks. Creating a safe space for discussion, sharing experiences, and providing evidence-based information to empower new parents to make choices that are right for their whanau.

Volunteer in this parent-run ECE cooperative, both actively participating in sessions alongside tamariki and holding a variety of office holder positions alongside other parents.Studied and completed Level 4 Certificate in ECE and Care (awarded March 2023) which allows me to support Playcentre ECE sessions in the "person responsible" role.As my experience and understanding has grown, the officer roles I have held have included Fundraising, Grants, Adult Education, and Centre President. In the latter, I have spent the three years as President building a solid team structure and empowering other parents to step into leadership roles, allowing me to sidestep into a more general role with a greater focus on play and learning with the tamariki on session. As well as leadership within my centre, I have also been endorsed into the Regional (Cluster) Representative role for Tangata Tiriti - representing and conveying the views of whanau across the upper South Island and ensuring their voices are heard within Playcentre governance.

Making things happen across the South Island for this not-for-profit: engagement, challenge and community events, trust & foundations funding bids, capturing corporate and individual support, coordinating region-wide annual appeal collections.

Coordinating and inspiring the Spectator Services team - rostering, briefing and supervising public-facing volunteers to deliver the best fan experience possible. Worked closely with operations and other functional areas to tackle any issues on the ground promptly and effectively.

Responsible for a varied portfolio of events within Crimestoppers Trust, working alongside the Head of Fundraising.Events include corporate receptions, major fundraising dinners, challenge events, small scale engagement opportunities and national staff conferences for over 200 people.

Worked alongside the Events Manager to provide a variety of high quality events to help achieve Crimestoppers objectives.Recruited and managed London Marathon team, guiding of 26 individuals to raise over £20k for the charity.

Voluntary role assisting organisation of the “Square Mile Run”, a major event whereby 2000 City of London professionals take to the streets to run 3.5 miles to raise a target of £150,000 in support of this national homelessness charity.Took responsibility for a broad range of aspects of event logistics prior to and on event day, manning the event information desk on race day.
