Policy Analysis and Research Group (PARG), UNN

The Policy Analysis and Research Group (PARG) was founded on the 17th of February 1998 by ten students of the department of Economics, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, with Prof Charles C. Soludo. PARG is tailored towards helping undergraduates and budding economists at large attain academic excellence through regular group discussions and academic exercises such as policy debates, symposiums, seminars, workshops etc. PARG tutors its members on methods and processes of conducting statistical and econometric researches, grounded in sound economic models using data from multiple sources on different policy issues, as well as how to interpret research findings through written analysis for audiences. The group allows members work together in a collaborative atmosphere that is both process and result oriented.
