Advanced Programme in Investment Arbitration – Paris Bar School

In December 2016, the Paris Bar School decided to launch the Advanced Programme in Investment Arbitration supervised by Nicolas Pralica. Following a rigorous selection process, the program accepts about 10 to 12 students every year. Arbitration being a highly competitive field, this program provides students with the opportunity to enhance their research, drafting and pleading skills for their future career. It also allows them to represent the Paris Bar School at an international mooting competition - the FDI Moot (https://fdimoot.org/) Law professors and arbitration practitioners from major law firms and institutions give around twenty lectures and seminars to the team on investment arbitration and public international law. This small group setting also enables the program to organise pleading sessions with the arbitration practitioners who pass on advice on advocacy.
