A sharing economy of parking startup founded by Kathryn Chang and Toney Wu and their CTO Allen Yang in 2015 as an innovative solution to parking scarcity in the urban congested settings like Shanghai. The product developed is called Parking Le (泊乐 - translated to "Joyful Parking"), it is a mobile app for android and ios. Hardware prototype was tested in the Crystal Galleria Shopping Centre in Shanghai, China. Achieved building owner and property management sign-off and appraisal. However, in 2016 there was a centralized government mandate to consolidate all parking structure systems and the government closed all data access to parking infrastructure. The project was put on hold until further changes in governmental policy would be more favorable.
