Pars IoCAD

Pars IoCAD, which is short for Pars Institute of Computation Aided Design, is a fabrication laboratory based in Pars university of architecture and art in Tehran. Three curious students establish this fab-lab in October 2017, and the main goal in this institute is to fabricate what we design in computers or on the papers. Pars IoCAD is always open to new ideas and eager to try new things. In the field of fabrication, there is only one goal: find new methods and do it yourself. Therefore, we had many workshops, and due to their experimental nature, we call them DIY (Design/Do it yourself). Pars IoCAD also has some international activities including: 1. 3rd place in Westminster university fabrication competition FABFEST2018 2. Fablab partner in Active Aging international competition 2019 Pars IoCAD also contributes to many courses for Master students in different universities, including Pars University of Architecture and Art and Southern branch of Islamic Azad University. We welcome any student or an interested person in our lab, and we won’t hesitate to share anything with them.
