Partners in Possibility

At Partners in Possibility, we strive to prevent and break cycles of dating/domestic abuse, by using a two prong approach of Education and Life Coaching. The educational component consists of confident communication (public speaking) workshops centered around identifying abuse, understanding the cycle of abuse, and recognizing the need to prevent and/or break these cycles in order to develop healthy relationships. The workshops accomplish this task by focusing on various aspects of relationship abuse such as identifying abusive behaviors, recognizing the warning signs, learning the effects of relationship abuse on the individual, family, schools, workplace, etc. The second prong is life coaching and it is essential to start off with a good understanding of what life coaching is and is not. Life coaching is not to be confused with therapy. While it may be therapeutic in nature, it is not therapy. Life coaching centers around getting the individual “unstuck” while also promoting forward movement. Essentially, when you work with a life coach, you are working with an accountability partner in taking steps towards personal goals.
