On November 8, 1922, company founder Maximilian Partsch received the concession for "periodic passenger transport using automobiles" on the route Wiener Neustadt – Hochwolkersdorf – Wiesmath. Approximately 40 years later, in 1963, Ignaz Partsch laid the foundation for today's traditional company by opening the Mercedes-Benz authorized workshop, which is now consolidated under the “Partsch” brand. Since 1978, the two business divisions – workshop and transport operations – have been continuously expanded. Part of the Partsch lines was integrated into the Verkehrsverbund Ost-Region (VOR), and additional locations for bus operations were established in Mannersdorf (2012) and Eisenstadt (2016). In 1995, the first branch of the automotive workshop was opened in Neunkirchen, and in 2009, the company expanded to include the "automotive trade" division, with the opening of the dealership in Wohlfahrtgasse. This milestone in Partsch’s history marked a shift from being an exclusive Mercedes-Benz partner to becoming a multi-brand dealer and authorized workshop for over 10 brands. In 2020, Partsch acquired the former Mayerhofer dealership in Fischauergasse, Wiener Neustadt, where all brands under the Stellantis umbrella are currently serviced. Another significant step was the construction of the commercial vehicle center in the industrial area of Bad Fischau-Brunn in 2022, which successfully relocated the entire van and truck segment from the densely populated urban area to the outskirts. With around 150 employees, Partsch is one of the leading automotive companies in the region. With an average of around 20 apprentices, including several young women, Partsch is also proud to train its own future professionals and is considered one of the top training companies in southern Lower Austria.
