How it all started? ...Łysoń Apirary - history In the 1950s Marian Łysoń was working as a machine fitter in a factory producing diesel engines, but he devoted his free time to developing his hobby – beekeeping. At that time he bought a pre-war breast drill, which he later made over to be an electric drill. Using the custom-made drill he was able to make innovative models of apiarian equipment and the first matrix for a styrofoam beehive. His work caught attention of his son Andrzej and his grandson Tomasz, what later resulted in them spending countless hours designing and realizing their ideas. In 1995 Tomasz Łysoń established “Łysoń” company and together with his family he continues his grandfather’s work constantly extending the business line not only in Poland, but also in Europe and other countries.
