A Gragnano, “Capitale Europea della Pasta”, dal 1907 l’Antico Pastificio “Gaetano Faella“ ha sede in piazza Marconi (già S. Leone) ai n° 13/14, dove ancora oggi avviene la produzione con l’impiego di miscele di semole di grano duro selezio- nate, impasto lento con trafilatura al bronzo ed essiccazione tipicamente tradizionale a basse temperature (max. 48 ° C), che conferiscono al prodotto una valida consistenza ed indiscutibili profumo e sapore.
Dal 2013 la prima I.G.P. della Comunità Europea sulla pasta ha rappresentato per il Pastificio Faella il meritato riconoscimen- to di un prodotto artigianale che si lega al territorio di Gragnano, che tradizionalmente da secoli ha fatto della Pasta il suo vanto ed il suo emblema nel Mondo.
L’”antico pasticficio Gaetano Faella” operates in Gragnano (“European Capital of Pasta production”) since 1907 from its site in Piazza Marconi (formerly S. Leone) N* 13/14, where still today pasta production is carried out using the best durum wheat selections, slow mixing of the dough and the use of bronze dye; pasta Faella is traditionally dried at low temperatures (max 48* C) which gives the final product the perfect consistency, fragrance and taste.
In 2013 the first ever I.G.P. for pasta production was awarded by the European Union and this represented for Pastificio Faella a deserved recognition of an artisan product strictly linked to its territory of Gragnano which, for centuries, has made pasta its pride and symbol all over the world..
