The Cyprus Association of Cancer Patients and Friends (PASYKAF), is a registered charity no. 525. PASYKAF was founded in 1986 by cancer patients, their families and friends. The mission of the Association is to improve the quality of life of cancer patients and of their families and to promote public awareness regarding the prevention and early detection of cancer.
PASYKAF runs annual campaigns about cancer prevention and detection and provides patients and their families with the following main services:

The Association is a member of International and European organizations such as: UICC (The Union for International Cancer Control), ECL (The European Cancer Leagues), ECPC (The European Cancer Patient Coalition), EAPC (The European Association for Palliative Care), EONS (The European Oncology Nursing Society), BLS (The British Lymphology Society), ACPOPC (The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Oncology and Palliative Care), ECCA (The European Cervical Cancer Association), Europa Colon.
