Patamar Capital is a venture capital firm with over 10 years’ experience investing in Asia’s “mass market” (i.e. low and middle-income populations). Patamar makes early-stage (Series A) and growth-stage (Series B) investments into companies in key sectors including financial services and technology-enabled platform businesses in health care, education, and other sectors serving the mass market. Patamar identifies investment opportunities and adds strategic value to portfolio companies by leveraging the local expertise of its Asia-based investment team members. The investment team resides full-time in six countries across South and Southeast Asia, and investment capital is sourced from leading Asia-based family offices and institutional investors in the U.S. and Australia.
