During a transformative journey to Kenya in 2022, I was struck by the harsh realities of fast fashion in Nairobi’s slums. Over 900 million pieces of second-hand clothing flood into Kenya annually, with up to 40% ending up as waste in massive landfills like Dandora.
This eye-opening experience inspired our mission to breathe new life into discarded garments. Partnering with local traders and tailors in Nairobi, we salvage pieces with untapped potential, transforming them into unique, reworked creations. Each item tells a story, embodying our commitment to colour, quality, and originality.
Our ethos centres around sustainability and individuality. By reviving existing pieces, we aim to foster a deeper connection with our wardrobes and the planet. Together, we encourage more meaningful purchases and create a transparent story line for each of our products.
