We have our own trademark database. It could’ve been the best on the market. But it’s not on the market — we do not let it to anyone. So, it’s just us who have direct access with unlimited search queries. This allows for both faster, and more dependable results.
2. Trademark Prosecution
We filed 628 trademarks in 2014. And 671 applications in 2015. Still not the 1st place in Russia, but we are getting there (actually, it’s the 4th).

3. Patent Prosecution
In Russia by patents we mean not only inventions, but also utility models and industrial designs. Of course, we do them all. Mechanics, physics, electronics. But our favorites are chemistry and life sciences. It’s easy to guess by Sergey Pyzhev’s titles:

BTW, Alexey Mikhailov holds the first place among the Russian patent attorneys by the number of applications filed in 2015 (it’s 123). And he is also a Eurasian patent attorney, but we did not count that. And, he is not only a chemist, but LLM in IP litigation.
4. Litigation & Transactions
We handle any IP disputes. In 2015 we had 140 cases including 124 in courts and the others in the Chamber for Patent Disputes, the Federal Anti-monopoly Service (for unfair competition actions), and the Police/Investigation Committee.
We are now at the TOP-2 in Russia by this measure. And look forward to removing the 2 from it.
We also have Of Counsels in corporate, insolvency, labour, contractual and international private law. So we can cover both non-IP disputes, and complex transactions involving IP. Sure, this includes franchises.
