PATH EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY

Path Educational Society is registered under Society's Act1860 and registered with the registrar of Joint Stock companies. Our accounts are audited every year and submitted to FBR. We have an NGO certification from FBR and Pakistan Centre of Philanthropy (PCP) In 2004, Path Education Society (PES) set up Rahnuma Public School, in Azam Town/ Azam Basti Karachi, an extremely densely populated shantytown, close to the very affluent Defense Society Phase 1. The selection criteria for children is that they come from families with income of under Rs.30,000 a month approximately, and are willing to attend school regularly. Today, Alhamdullilah, the school has about 500 boys and girls, aged 4 to 18, in it's primary and secondary school. The school is providing quality education to children from underprivileged backgrounds. It has a well stocked library, laboratory for science experiments and a computer lab. The most unique thing about the school is the use of technology for the very start. We introduce laptops to the students from grade 1 onwards so they are very familiar with technology.
