Lessons learned in the line of duty as a Michigan state trooper and a National Park Service protection ranger, told in a series of true short stories. Before becoming an author, Clif Edwards’ professional life was as a lawman. After retiring from the Michigan State Police at the rank of detective lieutenant, he served as a municipal police officer, and then 14 seasons as a protection ranger with the National Park Service. It is from these 38 years of paths crossed in frontline law enforcement experiences that he pens the popular series.
