Our consultancy service helps children to communicate their needs, advocates for what they need on their behalf and supports parents and caregivers in meeting these needs. We run events (in person & online) for children so that they can enjoy peer support from other children whose families looks like theirs or who have had similar experiences. We offer a Companion Scheme so that children can bask in the attention of a grown up who is able to prioritise whatever the child needs (be it emotional support, distraction, fun, space to process or a combination of these).
Paths Through Change was founded in 2020 by Eily Livingstone. Eily has worked with families and children for over 15 years in various capacities, including as a Family Solicitor Advocate and teacher. She is a parent herself and was a child of divorced parents. Eily is a Youth Mental Health First Aider, has achieved the NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Adverse Childhood Experiences & completed the Psychological First Aid: Supporting Children and Young People course with Public Health England.
