Pause Design is an independent design studio based out of New Delhi focusing on communication design, experience design and art-led design solutions. We believe that in a fast-moving visual world, the most powerful moments are the ones that make us stop — to feel, to notice, to truly see. And while good design exists to solve problems, it doesn't have to be just that. Founded with a focus on art and illustration-led design, and the possibilities it offers for unique and custom solutions, Pause works closely with clients to create work that is deeply local, contextual, and thoughtfully crafted. Each project begins with listening and observation — not just to what needs to be communicated, but to where, how, and why it will live in the world. With over 10 years of experience in communication design, we have worked on brands such as Kia India, MG Motors India, Maruti India, Hero MotoCorp, Indian Oil, JK Cement and Beco as well as cultural entities like the LLDC Craft Museum, Bhuj and Singapore South Asian International Film Festival. Our name comes from a simple idea: That the best design isn’t just seen — it's felt. It interrupts the noise. It invites attention, not demands it. It makes you pause.
