I’m Vicki Hodges, a leading voice in the endometriosis space and founder of Pausefully. My mission is to ensure that anyone struggling with infertility as a result of endometriosis has access to the compassionate support they deserve and the confidence to advocate for their needs. Endometriosis and fertility are frequently viewed as purely physical conditions and often mental health is overlooked. Having personally faced chronic pain, infertility, IVF, surgeries, and the emotional burnout from endometriosis I understand the emotional impacts—the anxiety, uncertainty, and loneliness. I know how overwhelming it can feel to advocate for your needs in a world where symptoms are often minimised or dismissed. As a disruptor in the endometriosis world, I aim to change the conversation by addressing the medical gaslighting, challenging the status quo, dispelling myths, and removing the stigma. Women* need more than just medical advice. That’s why I created Pausefully: to provide counselling sessions that support them through every stage of their fertility journey with endometriosis. Whether you’re navigating news of infertility, undergoing IVF treatments, facing hysterectomy surgery, or grieving the loss of your fertility options, I’m here to support you every step of the way. I offer hope and clarity when you feel powerless and confused. I help you prioritise emotional wellbeing, process your thoughts, make informed decisions, advocate for yourself, and take control of your future health. My goal is simple: to transform lives by putting emotional wellbeing at the forefront of the conversation around endometriosis and fertility—both personally and professionally.
