Pavement Pieces is the publication of New York University Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute’s Reporting New York and Reporting the Nation in Multimedia graduate concentration. In our newsroom, we tell the stories of New York City and the nation. We celebrate communities and we expose what’s not working. We give a voice to people. These talented students come from all over the country and the world. They have two things in common — they want to be journalists, and they want to learn in New York City.
