Kathy has worked professionally with dogs for over 9 years where she has experience in boarding kennels, day care, rescue centres, vets, and dog training. During her early experience, Kathy gained a BA in Education and Psychology where she found her love for animal behaviour and teaching.
Over the recent years, Kathy has been training hard to gain her qualification as a dog trainer with IMDT, as well as completing a Level 3 in Learning, Motivation and Reinforcement. She has furthered her interest in behaviour by studying alongside Seperation Anxiety trainer Julie Naismith, where she can learn to specialise in helping dogs more closely overcome this issue. Inbetween work, Kathy is always studying to gain her even more knowledge, and keep up to date with the recent, fear free and force free methods.
Kathy is very passionate about welfare and has also been working to help rescue chickens and horses. At home, she welcomes 5 rescue hens, an ex trotter pony and two 9 year old Border Terriers Badger and Beano.
