PBY Plastics, produces premium compression-molded basic shapes including tubes, rods, sheets, and custom near nets, using a variety of high-performance plastic materials. PBY was founded in 1995 by a team of industry-experienced experts that possessed a vast knowledge of market applications, materials, and transformational processing methodologies. Started in Ontario, California with three presses and two ovens we continued to grow and in 2011 moved into a 15,750 sq ft building. After being acquired by Columbia holdings in 2017 we invested in several additional presses, constructed Class 1000 cleanrooms for molding, and additional oven capacity to maintain speed and flexibility to support our customers and continue our growth plans. As technology continued to advance and as part of our strategy, in 2019 we appointed a material scientist PHD to our staff and acquired the analytical equipment needed to advance our material science capabilities and add value to our partnerships by providing full technical service. We will continue our plans to develop new application-specific compounds, testing services, and analytical information to create performance solutions to address customer challenges.
