The PCSB Student-Led Asset Management (“SLAM”) program launched in Fall 2020. SLAM is structured like a real Wall Street asset management firm with portfolio managers and analysts. The program gives students real experience in investment management, which provides a competitive advantage when interviewing for internships and full-time employment. SLAM teaches students how to conduct fundamental security analysis, create financial models, and effectively pitch investment ideas.
